COOLING SECTION by WATER CONTACT and TURN OVER

There are three main sections to cool the membrane: the first is done floating the membrane on a water trough, in the second membrane can be dip in the water and the third is dry and done by the contact of cooled drums. In this section the upper surface is quite finish and here the membrane has to be turned over, to begin the necessary treatments to finish the other surface and, in case of slate and sand, to recovery the excess.

THE FIRST AND THE SECOND SECTIONS CONSIST:

  3. Side band double Unwinder
  4. Guide and Coupling Station, provided with coupling rubber roller, first embossing station and dip drum.
  5. Floating or Dip Trough
  6. Guide and Second Embossing Station
  7. Wiping air blade
  8. Slate recovery belt
  9. Turn Over Drum
  10. Driven membrane conveyor belt
